Responsibilities of the role:
- Set the overall people strategy in conjunction with the executive team.
- Drive our People value proposition further, by improving our performance management, benefits, compensation, and hiring strategies globally.
- Ensure we’re building a strong, diverse team by working closely with the recruiting team as they create and optimize a strong recruiting funnel and brand reputation amongst high potential candidates.
- Further our employee lifecycle processes (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, performance management, etc) that enable us to retain great talent.
- Lead our People Business Partners in developing a scalable support model for managers, executives, and employees.
- Ensure our People Operations systems and processes enable scale, increase efficiency, and minimize People risk.
- Build a learning and development function that is unique and helps employees grow.
- Architect our places (office) plans to create work environments that are safe and inspire our employees to do their best work.
- Help codify our team culture, and in collaboration with the leadership team, define how we should make our culture even stronger over time.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of People experience (we prefer experience in a high-growth company, and one that’s highly highly focused on talent and culture)
- Track record of success leading company-changing people-related initiatives
- Broad familiarity with HR best practices
- Strong business acumen, ability to develop strategy, and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a 30+ person team to deliver exceptional results
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to comfortably handle difficult conversations
- High degree of comfort working in a team with, and influencing other executives
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
- BA or BS degree in a related field, or direct relevant experience
